Our current housing consists of two apartment buildings, which contain 251 apartment units in total and house approximately 340 residents.
The Providence Place building (completed in 1988) has 10 floors with 125 residential units. Each floor has up to 13 units.
There are 76 one-bedroom apartments, (of which 10 are specifically designed for the physically challenged) and 49 two-bedroom apartments. One-bedroom units are 576 square feet and two-bedroom units are 787 or 819 square feet. At least 50 of these units are rented at market value, while the remaining are ‘rent geared to income’ apartments.
The Tekoa Manor building (completed in 2002) has 10 floors with 126 residential units. Each floor has up to 13 apartment units.
There are 57 one-bedroom apartments and 69 one-bedroom plus den apartments. These units vary from 625 square feet to 960 square feet. Most of these units are rented at market value, while six are designated as rent subsidized units.
Our Tekoa Manor residence also features in-suite laundry facilities and central air conditioning on the top four floors of this building.
Both Providence Place and Tekoa Manor have laundry facilities and garbage disposal areas throughout the building and resident mailboxes are found on the main level of each building.
In addition, each building has two guest suites, which may be rented out to residents for their guests.
